The Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, led by former Minister Mohammad Choucair, unveiled an interactive robot on Tuesday aimed at streamlining procedures for its members. The launch was attended by Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Bisat.
The cutting-edge initiative is designed to enhance visitor reception and guidance, reflecting the Chamber’s commitment to aligning its services with modern digital standards.
“This move is part of our broader strategy to modernize and embrace artificial intelligence,” said Choucair. “It sends a strong message to both the public and private sectors to adopt such technologies in support of Lebanon’s national economy.”
Minister Bisat praised the launch as a “pioneering step,” noting that 60% of the procedures at the Ministry of Economy have already been digitized, with full digitization expected by the end of the year. He emphasized that the initiative aligns with the government’s ongoing e-governance efforts.
Following the unveiling, a meeting was held to discuss pressing economic issues.
