Strolling through the sun-kissed streets of Paris, carried by a soft breeze, visitors are invited into a slice of Italy inside the iconic Grand Palais. A world of luxury and artisanal mastery comes alive in “Dolce & Gabbana – Du cœur à la main,” an immersive experience blending fashion, culture and emotion in the heart of the capital of elegance.

To visit “Dolce & Gabbana – Du cœur à la main” at the Grand Palais is to embark on a whirlwind journey through an intensely Italian scenography. The exhibition showcases over 200 unique Alta Moda and Alta Sartoria gowns, 300 handmade accessories and 130 pieces of furniture and antiques. Spanning 12,000 square feet, this all-encompassing experience fuses music, ballet, cinema, folklore, theater and the unmistakable spirit of la dolce vita.

In a time when artisanal mastery meets the limitless potential of digital creativity, “Dolce & Gabbana – Du cœur à la main” envisions a future where Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria and Alta Gioielleria preserve ancient traditions while embracing new creative languages. The exhibition is a tribute to the art of craftsmanship—showcasing the intricate beauty of embroidery, the precision of ornamentation and the refined treatment of precious materials. Within this poetic space, every handmade gesture resonates with digital experimentation, where pixels and algorithms become the new threads of storytelling. A rare encounter between heritage and innovation, where human touch and digital imagination intertwine to shape the emotional landscapes of tomorrow.

Visitors are also granted rare access to the behind-the-scenes of these remarkable garments. Curated by Florence Müller, the exhibit echoes the inspirations of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana: refinement, luxury, sensuality and theatricality. Room after room, the path unfolds across Venice, Sicily and the magnetic soul of Italy.

Born from a powerful creative connection in the 1980s in Milan, the Dolce & Gabbana house has embodied a Mediterranean baroque spirit since its founding in 1985. The duo has always blurred the line between fashion and cinema, drawing on the atmosphere of Visconti’s The Leopard or the silhouette of the Madonnina watching over Milan. Their designs—both sculptural and sensual—play with opulence while staying in tune with modern elegance. In the 1990s and early 2000s, their vision dressed icons such as Madonna, Whitney Houston and Kylie Minogue. Through exclusive “Special Pieces” and a vintage boutique opened in 2003, the brand continues to evolve while staying true to its powerful legacy. Every piece tells a story of style, emotion and bold heritage.

Experiencing fashion in such a majestic setting as the Grand Palais is nothing short of magical. The soaring architecture, bathed in natural light, becomes the perfect stage for Dolce & Gabbana’s creations—each displayed like a timeless artwork. The contrast between the monumentality of the space and the delicacy of the garments creates a palpable emotional resonance. Within this Parisian setting, Italy unfurls in all its glory: the eternal charm of Sicilian villages, the grandeur of Venetian palaces, the cinematic rhythm of la dolce vita.

More than a retrospective, the exhibit is a living tribute to a house that, for over 40 years, has pulsed with passion, craftsmanship and poetic vision. Every embroidery, every crystal, every antique piece whispers a story—a love letter to beauty, to tradition and to the timeless legacy of Dolce & Gabbana.
