Al-Ansar Unstoppable, Al-Ahed Suffers Its First Defeat

The highly anticipated duel between the two championship favorites turned in favor of Al-Ansar, who dominated Al-Ahed (4-2) at Fouad Chehab Stadium. From the very first minute, Mohammad Habous opened the scoring for the Greens. The unstoppable Hassan Maatouk then scored a hat-trick (37', 45+8', 49'), propelling his team forward.

Al-Ahed, despite showing fighting spirit, reduced the deficit with an own goal from Mostafa Kassab (7') and a goal by Mahmoud Zbeeb (63'). This first defeat of the season for Al-Ahed allows the “Greens” to take a comfortable lead with 21 points, while Al-Ahed remains stuck at 16 points.

Nejmeh Finds Its Rhythm

Struggling since the start of the season, Nejmeh delivered a strong performance by defeating Shabab Baalbeck (3-1) at Fouad Chehab Stadium. The defending champion quickly secured the game in the first half with goals from Rabih Ataya (22'), Kassem Zein (25') and Mahdi Zein (45+3'). In the second half, Ibrahim Kamara (80') salvaged some pride for Shabab Baalbeck.

With this victory, Nejmeh now has 10 points and repositions itself in the race for the podium, while Shabab Baalbeck remains at 5 points.

Racing Beirut and Shabab Ghazieh Finally Kickstart Their Season

Racing Beirut and Shabab Ghazieh have finally secured their first wins of the season. Racing triumphed over Al-Bourj (1-0) thanks to a penalty converted by Jimmy Kazan in the 79th minute. A victory that lifts Racing to 6 points, leaving Al-Bourj at 3 points.

Meanwhile, Shabab Ghazieh overturned Tadamon Tyr (2-1) in a fiercely contested southern derby. Tadamon Tyr had taken the lead through Hassan Bezi (12'), but Ali Qabisi equalized in the 82nd minute before sealing the win in stoppage time (90+7'). Shabab Ghazieh now has 5 points, while Tadamon Tyr remains at 10 points.

Safa Continues Its Streak, La Sagesse Falters

At Wata al-Museitbeh Stadium, Safa secured its 6th win of the season by dominating La Sagesse (3-0). After a tight first half, Safa broke through late in the match with goals from Jihad Ayoub (78'), Ali Qassas (97') and Hussein Zein (98'). This victory allows Safa to hold on to second place with 19 points, while La Sagesse remains at 11 points.

Shabab Al-Sahel Snatches a Draw Against Riyadi Abbassiyé

In a match full of twists, Riyadi Abbassiyé and Shabab Al-Sahel ended in a spectacular draw (2-2). Riyadi Abbassiyé had taken the lead with two goals from Fadel Ajami (15', 45+3'), but Shabab Al-Sahel responded in the second half through Hadi Kaour (54') and Said Saad (90'). This draw brings Shabab Al-Sahel to 7 points, while Riyadi Abbassiyé remains at 4 points.
