Christopher Feghali continues to make history in Lebanese motorsport. At only 15 years old, the young driver is making a name for himself in Formula 4 with impressive performances in Spain.

Lebanon is gradually making its mark in motorsport thanks to a young prodigy: Christopher Feghali. At just 15, the young prodigy is stringing together top-level performances in Formula 4 and has just made his mark in the Winter Championship in Spain, where he battled against the greatest hopefuls of the discipline.

An Intense Weekend on the Iberian Circuits

Last Sunday, on the demanding Algarve track, Feghali, racing under the colors of Drivex School, showcased his talent and aggressiveness on the track. Starting in fourth position, he immediately made his mark by gaining a place in the very first corners. But an off-track excursion cost him dearly, forcing him to chase down his opponents once again. Never one to shy away from daring overtakes, he fought tooth and nail against seasoned rivals like Vivek Kanthan and Rene Lammers.

As the laps went by, Feghali found himself at the heart of thrilling duels, resisting attacks and using strategy to maintain his position. He eventually saw the checkered flag in eighth place before a penalty for exceeding track limits dropped him back to eleventh place.

But the stroke of genius came in Portimão, where Feghali secured a dazzling podium finish: third in the overall standings and second among the rookies, after an impressive comeback from fifth place in qualifying. A performance that further cements his rise on the international stage.

A Path Forged for the Elite

If Christopher Feghali is already shining behind the wheel, it is because his destiny seemed to be mapped out. Son of rally champion Abdo Feghali and nephew of the legendary Roger Feghali, record-holder of national titles, he was immersed from a young age in the world of speed and competition.

His talent was quickly confirmed: at 4 years old, he was already driving karts, and by 12, he was collecting national and international titles. His 2022 world championship victory at the Rotax Mini MAX Junior Championship in Portugal was a turning point, opening the doors to professional motorsport.

Last year, Feghali took a decisive step by joining the Red Bull Junior Team, a true springboard to the heights of F1. Selected from dozens of young talents during tests in Spain, he made history as the first Lebanese driver to join a Formula 1-affiliated academy. A top-tier program that provides him with the tools to refine his driving skills and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Objective: Formula 1

Now embarking on his second season in Formula 4 under the Red Bull banner, Feghali has no intention of slowing down. Fully aware that the road to Formula 1 is paved with obstacles, he approaches every race with the same fighting spirit and desire to improve.

“I am ready to push myself beyond my limits to achieve my dream of representing Lebanon at the highest level of motorsport,” he declared with determination at a conference at the Automobile and Touring Club of Lebanon (ATCL).

In a country where motorsport infrastructure remains limited, Feghali embodies a new generation that refuses to set boundaries. And if a Lebanese flag were to fly on a Formula 1 Grand Prix starting grid one day, Christopher Feghali would likely be the one carrying it.
