The young Cedars continue their dazzling run in the West Asian Under-17 Cup. After a convincing opener against Syria and a show of strength against Palestine, Michel Khoury’s players once again made their mark, defeating Bahrain 3-0 at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium, the site of their previous triumph.
Unbridled Domination
From the outset, Lebanon dictated the tempo, suffocating their opponents with intense pressure and polished teamwork. It took just 10 minutes for Sarah Issa to break the deadlock with an unstoppable strike, setting the tone for a dominant display. After the break, Yara Geatani doubled the lead in the 46th minute with a clinical finish. Eight minutes later, Yasmin Habbal sealed an emphatic victory.
As in previous encounters, the Lebanese defense stood as an impregnable bulwark. The iron curtain orchestrated by Gianna Frangieh neutralized the Bahraini offensives, while goalkeeper Marie-Joe Chebly secured another clean sheet.

With her vision, physicality and pinpoint precision, she simply dominated the game.
