Displaying independence, freedom, but also delicacy and sensuality, Zuhair Murad’s Spring-Summer 2025 collection made a spectacular return to Paris during the Fashion Week. Haute couture shone in all its glory in a “Tropical Escape” of creative outfits where untamed nature and striking chicness meld seamlessly.
Zuhair Murad transports his audience to an untouched bubble, an alternate realm where the Earth births silhouettes of embodied women. Nature’s elements come alive in corsets and gowns, a swirling waltz of colors and fabrics that blossoms in a magical universe of petals and rebirth.
“Imagine an island on the edge of the world, a secluded sanctuary beyond urban jungles and tamed lands. Imagine a dress that captures infinite horizons, unexplored landscapes where the only conductor is nature. The rhythmic beat of a drum resonates as a tropical sunset ignites the sky, bringing a dreamlike tableau to life; women appear, their presence seamlessly merging with this untouched paradise. They transform into flora and vines, fruits and fronds, as if one with the wild. Corsets elongate like inverted petals, supporting delicate, blooming folds, echoes of a cocoon’s gentle awakening. With the rhythm of a dance, these fabrics come alive, vibrant and full of motion.” This is how Zuhai Murad presents his collection.
