The Director-General of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), Mohammad Karaki, made a request to the relevant financial services for the transfer of 16 billion Lebanese pounds to hospitals, bringing the total amount paid to hospitals since the beginning of January to 68 billion Lebanese pounds.
These transfers are part of the NSSF’s commitment to providing monthly funds to hospitals, enabling them to continue their operations, offer quality care to insured individuals, and support patients, especially amid the challenging situation the country is facing.
Karaki also requested that the relevant financial services transfer 33 billion Lebanese pounds to hospitals to cover dialysis treatment costs. This amount adds to the 77 billion that were transferred 15 days ago.
