On Tuesday, Beirut once again celebrated the exploits of Hady Habib, national hero and now figurehead of Lebanese tennis. A few hours ago, the Lebanese player arrived at Beirut International Airport, where he was welcomed like a true champion by a jubilant crowd. The Lebanese Tennis Federation, headed by Alain Sayegh, had prepared a solemn ceremony in the VIP lounge, paying tribute to the man who made Lebanese sporting history during his appearance at the Australian Open 2025.

The honors were commensurate with Habib's achievement. Among the personalities present to welcome him back were Dr. Raja Labaki, advisor to the Minister of Youth and Sports, as well as members of the federation, journalists and an enthusiastic crowd who never stopped applauding the champion.
