As Lebanon inaugurated a new president on Thursday, Israeli violations of the ceasefire continued in southern Lebanon.
Border villages were rocked by the demolition and large-scale destruction of houses and structures.
In the afternoon, the Israeli Army simultaneously destroyed nine buildings in Aita al-Shaab and carried out massive explosions in Kfar Kila and the Wazzani area.
Israeli Merkava tanks also advanced on Thursday afternoon toward the main road of Maroun al-Ras, strafing the area with machine guns.
Meanwhile, Israeli drones hovered over Beirut as well as Nabatiyeh and its surroundings.
On Wednesday night, the Israeli Army conducted large-scale demolition operations in the villages of Hula and Rab al-Thalathin.
