Air France announced the continued suspension of its flights to Lebanon and Israel due to ongoing security risks in the region.
The airline confirmed on Monday that its services between Paris and Tel Aviv will remain suspended until January 17, while flights between Paris and Beirut are halted until January 31.
The decision follows the airline’s assessment of the security situation, and that the resumption of operations will depend on further evaluations.
Affected passengers will be notified directly, with options for rebooking or refunds available.
Air France initially suspended flights to Beirut on September 17, 2024, after a bombing incident targeting Hezbollah members.
The suspension of flights to Tel Aviv followed shortly after, on September 30. Transavia, Air France’s low-cost subsidiary, had announced in December that its services to both cities would be paused until at least January 6.
In addition, German carrier Lufthansa extended its flight suspension to Tel Aviv until at least January 31, as the security situation in the region remains uncertain.
