On December 31, 2024, the Champs-Élysées transformed into a dazzling stage for a New Year’s Eve celebration filled with spectacular performances, a majestic fireworks display, and an atmosphere that lit up Paris into the early hours of 2025.

Closing a year defined by the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the French capital brought together over a million people on the Champs-Élysées. Beneath a sparkling winter sky, Paris shone brighter than ever, delivering an unforgettable spectacle. The festivities began with a sumptuous performance by the dancers of the Moulin Rouge, captivating the crowd with their feathered costumes and graceful choreography.

The evening, hosted by Stéphane Bern, Magali Ripoll, and Mohamed Bouhafsi, featured an eclectic program blending French variety, rap, and nostalgic hits from the 1980s. Chimène Badi, accompanied by a choir of a hundred voices, delivered a moving performance, while David Hallyday warmed hearts with a tribute to his father through his iconic songs. Amir enchanted the audience with a dynamic medley of his career highlights, and K.Maro took spectators on a journey with a remixed version of his classic Femme Like U.

Emotional moments marked the night, including a live marriage proposal and performances by the Cirque Phénix and Folies Gruss troupes, which added a touch of magic and enchantment. The dancers of the Paradis Latin and Moulin Rouge showcased their elegance, while the Stars 80 and Collectif Métissé infused the evening with a festive and contagious energy.

At the stroke of midnight, the countdown concluded with a breathtaking fireworks display launched from the Arc de Triomphe, illuminating the avenue and capturing the wonder of the crowd. Despite the absence of champagne due to restrictions, smiles, embraces, and dancing warmed the frosty atmosphere, evoking the shared joy of last summer’s Olympic events.

This extraordinary evening, filled with magic and nostalgia, once again proved that Paris remains the global capital of unforgettable New Year’s celebrations. Under the starlit glow of the Champs-Élysées, Paris danced to the rhythm of hope, ushering in a radiant new year under the gaze of the world.
