One person was killed in an Israeli drone strike on the Shebaa Farms area on Tuesday afternoon. The raid targeted Jamal Hassan Saab, a shepherd who was in a field, according to the National News Agency.
Also on the ground, three Israeli Merkava tanks were spotted on the Bourj el-Malouk–Khiam junction.
At the same time, Israeli army vehicles advanced towards Bourj el-Moulouk and Kfar Kila, two localities in the Marjayoun district.
Israeli soldiers stationed in Yaroun fired medium and light machine guns in the direction of Bint Jbeil. Israeli artillery also targeted Rachaya al-Foukhar, in the Hasbaya district, and Khiam.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the death toll from last night's Israeli strike on Haris, in the Bint Jbeil district, “has risen to six” from the previous figure of five.
