Teachers and students in public institutions can now take advantage of a free 20 GB package from mobile providers Alfa and Touch.
Alfa and Touch have started offering a free 20 GB package to teachers and students whose names are on the Ministry of Education’s lists, according to a press statement released by the Ministry of Telecommunications on Thursday.
This package facilitates distant learning in the challenging conditions Lebanon is facing by granting free access to the Microsoft Teams program and several websites designated by the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry of Telecommunications has received from the Ministry of Education a list of 130,255 teachers and students in public schools who will benefit from the free package available to them from Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
Moreover, a similar service for teachers and students at the Lebanese University will soon be provided.
