3. Salam: 'Daily Losses of Hundreds of Millions of Dollars as War Continues'

Caretaker Minister of Economy Amin Salam indicated that "Lebanon's losses resulting from the ongoing war with Israel currently range between 15 and 20 billion dollars."

In an interview with Al-Arabiya TV channel on Wednesday, he explained that the military escalation led to "the destruction of Lebanon's infrastructure and the elimination of over 500,000 job opportunities." He further noted that "losses are increasing by hundreds of millions of dollars daily as the conflict persists."

Salam stated that "the magnitude of the economic hurdles confronting Lebanon is mounting," underscoring that the deepening of the conflict has complicated the country's economic situation.
