In the latest field developments, the southern front remained ablaze, with Israeli warplanes bombarding heavily several regions.
Injuries were reported after an Israeli drone targeted the town of Haris with a guided missile. Bint Jbeil, Shebaa and Tyre districts were bombarded in the afternoon as well as Maroun al-Ras, Yaroun, and Aitaroun. Meanwhile, a cautious calm prevailed in the villages of the western and central sectors.
Additionally, three people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Arabsalim in the Nabatiyeh district early this morning.
Airstrikes hit a four-story building in the town of Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain and a house on the Marj Harouf - Zabdeen road.
An Israeli drone targeted a car with a guided missile in the town of Tayer in the Bint Jbeil district, but there was no immediate report of casualties.
In the Bekaa region, Douris municipality sustained extensive damage and its equipment were destroyed in a strike on a nearby house.
Civil Defense teams from the Islamic Scout Association searched for missing individuals among the rubble of a building targeted in Bazourieh on Sunday night.
A cautious calm prevailed in Beirut’s southern suburb, with Israeli drones intensively and incessantly flying at low altitudes over several Lebanese regions and Beirut.
Public Health Emergency Operations Center
The death toll has reached 3,002 since the start of the war between Hezbollah and Israel on October 8, 2023 and 13,492 have been injured according to the latest figures issued by the Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health.
Hezbollah’s Attacks
For its part, Hezbollah issued several statements in which it claims to have targeted the settlements of “Eilat Hashahar,” “Sha'al,” “Hatsor” and “Dalton,” as well as the settlement of Nahariya, the city of Safed, and the settlement of Yesud Hama'ala.
Rockets Towards Israel
The Israeli Channel 12 stated that 70 rockets were launched from Lebanon toward Israel since Monday morning.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli Media said eight drones breached Israeli airspace, five launched from Lebanon and three from the east. It also reported that the Israeli army intercepted an assault drone that was launched from Lebanon towards western Galilee.
Moreover, the Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, claimed today that “engineering forces from the 188th Brigade continue to uncover and destroy Hezbollah's infrastructure in rugged areas in the south.”
He said on X that “the Israeli forces managed to uncover a rocket storage facility containing ammunition and weapons hidden in the rugged areas and underground infrastructure.”
