The bombing of AC Flight 901 in 1994 has been attributed to Hezbollah by the US Office of the Director of National Intelligence, according to a media note issued by the Department of State on Tuesday.

The US Department of State’s Rewards for Justice (RFJ) program is offering a reward of up to $5 million for information that leads to the arrest or conviction of individuals involved in the bombing of Alas Chiricanas Flight 901 (AC Flight 901) in Panama.

All 21 passengers on board, including three US citizens, were killed. An individual named Ali Hawa Jamal, who perished in the incident, has been identified as a suspect who carried the bomb onto the flight.

This attack coincided with a bombing in Buenos Aires, Argentina, just a day earlier, where 85 people lost their lives at the Argentine Jewish Mutual Aid Society.

The group Ansar Allah, which the US government identifies as an alias for Hezbollah, claimed responsibility for both incidents shortly after they occurred.
