Pro-Hezbollah TV Targeted in Israeli Airstrike Near the Iranian Embassy South of Beirut

An Israeli air strike targeted the Jnah-Ouzai area in Beirut's southern suburbs Wednesday evening, targeting the office of the pro-Hezbollah TV station Al Mayadeen.

Al Mayadeen confirmed that its “empty” office was the target of an “Israeli aggression”.

Ambulances arrived at the site of the attack in Jnah and the Al Mayadeen office was effectively empty.

Preliminary reports had suggested the possibility of assassination.

This latest air strike on Beirut's southern suburbs was carried out without prior Israeli warning.

Following the raid, the Israeli army ordered the evacuation of localities near Bourj al Brajneh and Hadath, in Beirut's southern suburbs.

Shortly afterwards, four very violent air strikes targeted a residential complex in the Lailaki area with 4 missiles, causing a huge fire.
