Hezbollah's response

For its part, Hezbollah claimed several attacks on Israel today. According to its statement, it targeted the "Stella Maris" naval base northwest of Haifa, and also struck the Glilot base, where Military Intelligence Unit 8200 is located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.

Additionally, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for bombing the TAAS military industries company in a suburb of Tel Aviv.

The Iranian-backed group also announced that it had targeted a Merkava tank in Rmeish with a guided missile, inflicting casualties among Israeli troops.

It also said it had targeted gatherings of Israeli soldiers on the outskirts of the town of Taybeh, at the al-Marj site and at the Zar’it crossroads between Aita al-Shaab and Khallet Wardeh. It further claimed that it had carried out an air attack with a squadron of kamikaze drones on the Elyakim base south of Haifa.

Israeli media reported that air raid sirens sounded in northern Israel, including Haifa, Acre, Kna'an, Zikhron Ya'akov and several Carmel settlements, following reports that Hezbollah drones had penetrated Israeli airspace.

One drone reportedly penetrated up to 70 km into northern Israel, pursued by Israeli helicopters.
