Lebanon witnessed an intensification of Israeli airstrikes on Saturday, continuing late into the evening.

Southern Suburbs of Beirut

The Israeli army resumed its strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut on Saturday afternoon, carrying out several consecutive raids shortly after a warning to evacuate was issued by the Israeli army's Arabic spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, on his X account.

The targeted neighborhoods were in Haret Hreik. One of the raids occurred near Bahman Hospital, and another close to the Faculty of Sciences at the Lebanese University. According to initial reports, these strikes did not result in any casualties.

Half an hour later, the Israeli army issued a new evacuation order to the residents of Choueifat in the Al-Umara district, which had been targeted by two attacks, followed by another order to the residents of Bourj Brajneh.

South Lebanon

In South Lebanon, raids targeted the vicinity of a building belonging to the demining NGO MAG in Kfarjoz, located in the Nabatiyeh district, as well as Kfar Kila, Kfarchouba, Bint Jbeil, Marjayoun, Qana, Saida, and Tyre.

Avichay Adraee announced on Friday the elimination of Nasser Abdel Aziz Rashid, a Hezbollah commander in the Bint Jbeil region.

He also declared on X that Israeli forces had destroyed over 120 Hezbollah infrastructures, several tunnel entrances, and more than 20 weapons caches.

An airstrike on a building in Jal al-Bahr, near the Mashreq Medical Center in Tyre, injured six people, one of them critically. Phosphorus bombings caused multiple fires in Kfar Hamam. The Israeli air force also bombed the town of Majdel Selm, destroying the local mosque.

Bekaa Valley

In western Bekaa, Israeli aircraft struck the outskirts of Baaloul, targeting a residential apartment, killing four people, including the mayor of Sohmor, Haidar Shahla, and injuring 13 others.

The Israeli air force also attacked the town of Ansar in the Baalbek district, with reports of the death of Sobhi Ibrahim al-Tafili.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 36 people were killed and 204 others injured in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 2,448, with 11,471 injured since the beginning of the war.

Hezbollah announced that it had targeted northern Haifa with a large salvo of rockets and launched an attack on the Kiryat Shmona settlement.

The Iran-backed group also destroyed a Merkava tank in the Zar'it settlement with a guided missile. Additionally, it attacked a group of Israeli soldiers in the Malikiya area with rockets and bombarded the city of Safed and the Rosh Bina settlement southeast of Safed with another salvo.

Hezbollah intensified its rocket fire against Israel on Saturday, claiming to have targeted the Haifa region and a nearby military base in northern Israel. According to Magen David Adom, Israel's equivalent of the Red Cross, five people were injured by shrapnel in the area.

Pan-Arab media outlet Al-Hadath reported that one Israeli was killed and at least 12 others were injured during a series of rocket attacks from Lebanon.

Hezbollah also announced attacks on the Malkiya settlement and a gathering of Israeli soldiers in Jal al-Deir, as well as in the occupied Golan Heights, Safed, Zar'it, Ras Naqoura, Shlomi, Haifa, and its northern suburb, Krayot.
