Following Sunday night’s strike on the military training camp in Binyamina, near Haifa, Hezbollah said its fighters fired artillery rounds at Israeli troops attempting an "infiltration" into south Lebanon on Monday, while also targeting soldiers elsewhere.

"During an enemy infantry force's attempted infiltration into Lebanese territory" near the border village of Markaba, Hezbollah fighters targeted the force "with artillery shells", a statement said, adding fighters targeted soldiers elsewhere with rockets, including in Labbouneh.

Hezbollah also announced having hit the Stella Maris naval base west of Haifa.

The pro-iranian group claimed responsibility for launching a significant rocket barrage at an Israeli rehabilitation and maintenance center south of Haifa.

Israeli Strikes

An Israeli airstrike on a house in Ansar in the Nabatieh district on Monday resulted in two deaths  and several injuries.

Emergency teams swiftly responded, transporting the injured to nearby hospitals.

The airstrike led to the temporary closure of the town's western entrance, which was subsequently reopened by volunteers from the Ansar Scout Center.

Israeli warplanes conducted two additional strikes on the town of Maaroub, targeting residential homes, and killing four people. Three airstrikes were also reported in Hanin and the Shebaa vicinity.

Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling also targeted the towns of Shebaa and Kfarchouba, damaging numerous properties in these areas.

At dawn, Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of Naqoura and Alma al-Shaab, as well as Jabal Al-Lubban and Jabal Al-Alam.

The town of Yuhmur al-Shaqif in the Nabatieh district also experienced extensive aerial bombardment, resulting in the destruction of five homes and disrupting the main road near a public school.
