Two Telecom Transmission Stations Destroyed by Israeli Bombings
Two transmission stations belonging to the mobile phone operator Alfa were completely destroyed on Wednesday due to Israeli bombings in the southern suburb of Beirut.

Alfa announced that it is implementing the necessary technical and operational measures to ensure service continuity and alleviate the increased strain on the network, particularly in areas experiencing significant population displacement.

Meanwhile, caretaker Minister of Telecommunications Johnny Corm shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) that highlights the extent of the damage. He condemned the attack and reassured the public that he is committed to maintaining services for citizens and ensuring uninterrupted communications.

Mr. Corm also told This is Beirut that population displacements are putting pressure on the network of host towns and villages, stressing that the necessary measures are being put in place to restore the network's smooth operation.
