Toufic Dabboussi, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Tripoli and the North, hosted a delegation comprising of expatriates, academics, businessmen and entrepreneurs on Thursday. The purpose of the meeting was to facilitate an exchange of ideas and experiences aimed at enhancing connections between Lebanese nationals residing abroad and their home country, as well as fostering partnerships with the modern economies of the Eastern Mediterranean.
During the meeting, participants emphasized the collaboration between the Chamber and the Arab University of Beirut, particularly focusing on the establishment of the "Career Flow" electronic platform, which was unveiled at the International Conference of the Diaspora for the Development of Tripoli and the North. This platform is designed to connect job opportunities provided by companies of expatriate investors, both within Lebanon and overseas, with graduates from Tripoli and the North who are seeking employment. It also offers training opportunities.
This initiative forms part of a strategy to enhance technical skills through the utilization of artificial intelligence, thereby strengthening the bonds between the academic realm and the business sector.
