18 Lebanese Students Join HEC Thanks to CMA CGM Scholarships
Eighteen Lebanese students supported by the “CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education” program joined the HEC Paris campus on September 10. This program, launched in 2021 - in collaboration with HEC Paris and École Polytechnique in France, Oxford University, Imperial College and King's College in the UK, the American University of Beirut (AUB), Université Saint-Joseph (USJ) and École supérieure des Affaires (ESA) in Lebanon - is awarded to students based on merit and economic need. It enables many talented young people to realize their professional ambitions. The program encompasses many fields of study, from finance and business management to science, social sciences, engineering, mathematics, AI and tech.

The CMA CGM Group, a global player in maritime, land, air and logistics solutions, and a major employer in Lebanon with over 2,330 employees, initiated this scholarship program in 2021 to support deserving Lebanese students and promote academic excellence. Since its launch, every year 145 students have realized their professional aspirations by joining the program's top partner schools.

The aim of the “CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education” is to train future Lebanese leaders who will be able to work in large multinationals or put their talents at the service of Lebanon and the Lebanese people, thus contributing to the country's economic reconstruction.
