Tensions Persist on Lebanese-Israeli Border After Violent Night
Tensions persisted on the Lebanese-Israeli border Wednesday after an extremely violent night.

The Israeli army conducted a raid on a park in Maroun al-Ras using two booby-trapped vehicles, causing significant damage to the park’s facilities.

Israeli drones struck the western outskirts of Rashaya Al-Fakhar, while artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of Blida and residential neighborhoods in Kafr Shuba, intensifying the conflict.

Hezbollah responded by targeting the Hadab Yarin position and a military site in Metulla. It also hit a gathering of Israeli soldiers near Al-Rahib and struck the Zabadin barracks in the Shebaa Farms, with another direct hit reported on Israeli soldiers in Metulla.

In Mays al-Jabal, an Israeli strike on a motorcycle resulted in one fatality and one injury, according to the Ministry of Health’s emergency operations center. Additionally, a rocket was fired at an Israeli position in the Shebaa Farms.

Southern Lebanon experienced one of its most violent nights since the onset of the war, with Israeli warplanes conducting over 15 airstrikes south of Tyre. Targets included the villages of Qalila, Zebqine, Haniyeh, Majdal Zoun, Tayr Harfa, and the outskirts of Deir Saryan and Zawtar al-Sharqiya.


The region saw significant destruction, and a resident from Deir Qanun En Nahr, south of Tyre, was reported injured.

The Israeli army claimed its airstrikes targeted around 30 Hezbollah launchers and infrastructure at dawn, focusing on locations in Jebbin, Naqoura, Deir Saryan, and Zabqin that were deemed immediate threats to Israeli civilians. The outskirts of Al-Qouzah were also shelled.



Although details of casualties remain scarce, significant destruction was reported in the region. It was confirmed that a resident from Deir Qanun En Nahr, located south of Tyre, was injured.

For its part, the Israeli army stated that its airstrikes hit around 30 Hezbollah launchers and other infrastructure at dawn, targeting locations in Jebbin, Naqoura, Deir Saryan and Zabqin, which were deemed to pose an immediate threat to Israeli civilians. The outskirts of Al-Qouzah were also subjected to shelling.
