Turkey denounced on Tuesday an Israeli strike on a humanitarian zone in the Palestinian territory that killed dozens as another “war crime.”

“We condemn Israel's massacre of dozens of Palestinians in an attack on the tents of civilians in the so-called 'humanitarian zone' in Khan Yunis,” said the Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in a statement during his address at the 162nd meeting of the Arab League’s Council of Foreign Ministers in Cairo, accusing Israel of having “added a new crime to its list of war crimes.”

Fidan vowed that the Islamic world will do “whatever it takes” to protect “the Islamic identity of Haram al-Sharif (Al Aqsa Mosque)” “We will continue our joint action to put pressure on the international community to reject Israel's actions,” he added, Turkey's official news agency, Anadolu, reported.

The Turkish minister also warned those supporting Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, saying that they are accomplices in the ongoing genocide.

“They will also be held accountable,” he added.
