The Collectif Monnot was inaugurated this Wednesday, September 4. This groundbreaking initiative unites the cultural powers of the Monnot neighborhood to refine Beirut's cultural landscape. This collaboration brings together eight leading cultural institutions, transforming the Monnot area into a vibrant hub of cultural activities.
The Collectif Monnot comprises the following institutions, listed alphabetically: Beit Tabaris, the Oriental Library – USJ, the Monnot Public Library, the National Conservatory, Snoubar Bayrout Bookstore, the Lebanese Prehistory Museum – USJ, Le Monnot Theater and the University for All – USJ. Each of these institutions contributes its expertise and specific mission, thus enhancing the richness and diversity of this joint project. Indeed, the collective members form a strategic alliance aimed at harmonizing their efforts to promote a rich and diverse cultural offering.
