NSSF Pays LBP 131 Billion to Hospitals
The Director General of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF/CNSS), Mohammad Karaki, asked the competent financial services to transfer LBP 131 billion to hospitals. This amount is intended to cover the treatment costs of dialysis patients.

This sum is in addition to the amounts already paid for these treatments, bringing the total to LBP 800 billion since the beginning of the year. In July, LBP 105 billion was disbursed for dialysis patients. These transfers reflect the NSSF management's commitment to making monthly payments to hospitals so that they can continue their activities and ensure optimal health services for the insured.

This periodic procedure, specifically set up to offer 100% coverage to dialysis patients, will also be extended to hospitalization costs related to surgical interventions.
