Caretaker Minister of Public Health, Dr. Firas al-Abyad, received an emergency aid shipment from the World Health Organization (WHO) on Sunday at Rafic Hariri International Airport. The shipment, which arrived by charter plane, weighs “32 tons and includes medical supplies and medicines intended to treat war injuries.”

This aid comes at a critical time as Lebanon braces for a potential escalation in the ongoing Israeli aggression. The presence of WHO's representative in Lebanon, Dr. Abdel Nasser Abu Bakr, underscored the organization's commitment to supporting Lebanon's health sector during this challenging period.
