Caretaker Finance Minister, Youssef Khalil, on Tuesday, reiterated his ministry’s “commitment to submitting the 2025 budget within constitutional deadline.”
In an administrative meeting devoted to assessing the stages reached in preparing the budget, in light of meetings with economic officials and international donors, Khalil reaffirmed “the need to maintain financial and monetary stability while enhancing productivity in social spending.”
He asserted the importance of developing and improving ministry budgets, especially those of Health, Education, and Social Affairs, indicating that “these budgets must reflect a vision of strategy and reform, taking into account the recommendations proposed by the technical missions.”
