Since 1981, he has served as a professor of oboe and chamber music at the Lebanese National Conservatory of Music, where he also completed his studies. He further refined his skills in Paris, earning a Concert License in Oboe from the École Normale Supérieure de Musique. Étienne Kupélian has had a distinguished career as a soloist, performing across Lebanon, France, the United States, the Gulf countries, and major cities in the Middle East. A founding member of the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra, he has also contributed to classical music programming on Radio-Liban and Radio Mont-Liban.
