Tennis: ATCL Launches Its Annual Tennis Tournament
The 'Automobile et Touring Club du Liban' is organizing its annual local open tennis tournament on its courts in Kaslik under the supervision of the Lebanese Tennis Federation. It starts on Monday, July 8 and runs until Saturday, July 20.

Nassib Haddad, a member of the organizing club's board of directors and coordinator of the sports committee, said that 355 male and female players are taking part in the tournament in 16 age categories. 372 matches will be played every day from Monday.

"The draw took place in the organizing club's tennis office, in my presence and in the presence of the club's sports activities director Louis Baz, Egyptian referee Yasser Gad, and a number of players, with referee Joey Khalil as the tournament's general referee," Haddad added.

Haddad thanked the Lebanese Tennis Federation, headed by Oliver Faisal, for overseeing the tournament, as well as the organizing club's board of directors, headed by lawyer Elie Assaf, for supporting the club's many sporting activities.

"Matches will be played on five courts and prizes amount to around $4,300, with in-kind prizes of $1,500," continued Haddad, while thanking the official sponsors.

"The club's sporting activities are numerous, and the club's mini-football pitch has been rehabilitated and now has a new look," he concluded.
