Official exams of the secondary school certificate in Lebanon are ongoing. Monday marked the second day, and exams will continue until Friday, July 5.
Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and caretaker Minister of Education Abbas Halabi were on an inspection tour at St. Jude’s Children Cancer Center (CCCL) at the American University of Beirut, and were briefed on the progress of examinations.
Mikati spoke about the difficulties students face whether in the South or at CCCL, emphasizing “their will to live.” He also stressed on the important humanitarian work at the Center.
Halabi also praised the national humanitarian work carried out by the CCCL team.
