Vogue World, a major fashion event, dazzled Paris on Sunday at Place Vendôme, featuring a parade of top French designers and an unprecedented gathering of celebrities.
The highly anticipated Vogue World, one of the year’s most significant fashion events, took center stage on Sunday at the iconic Place Vendôme in Paris. This spectacular show, initiated by the renowned fashion magazine, is a celebration of French fashion and its connection to sports, with an unparalleled concentration of stars gracing the Parisian cobblestones.
The event showcased a unique fusion of sports and fashion, with each sport (including cycling, gymnastics, tennis, taekwondo, fencing and breakdance) paired with a theme representing a decade of French fashion since 1924, the year Paris last hosted the Olympic Games.
Over 500 participants took part in this unprecedented fashion extravaganza, which brought together the biggest names in Parisian fashion for one unforgettable evening. The star-studded lineup includes Olivier Rousteing for Balmain, Pharrell Williams for Louis Vuitton, Marine Serre and Simon Porte Jacquemus, among others.
While the complete list of participants remained under wraps, the promotional video offered a tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come, featuring top models Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, as well as acclaimed actress Isabelle Huppert, at the starting line or in Parisian gymnasiums.

The production of Vogue World is equally impressive, with artistic direction entrusted to a team of notable figures, including French fashion icon Carine Roitfeld, stylist Ib Kamara, and Alexandre Samson, curator of the Palais Galliera, Paris’s fashion museum.
Given the involvement of Parris Goebel, the New Zealand-born dancer and choreographer known for her work on Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show, the event is featured a significant amount of dance and movement.
Speculation was rife about potential celebrity appearances, with Rihanna, the new face of Dior Parfum, possibly making an appearance following her arrival in Paris for her partner ASAP Rocky’s surprise debut show. Other stars rumored to attend include Kate Moss, actor Robert Pattinson, and Colombian superstar Maluma, who commands a massive following in Latin America.
Despite the event’s grand scale, Vogue World remains highly exclusive, with only 800 seats available, the majority of which are reserved for celebrities. Fashion enthusiasts who aren’t among the lucky few will have to content themselves with watching the livestream, which begins at 9:00 PM local time (7:00 PM GMT).
In a commendable gesture, Vogue World pledged to make a significant donation from a portion of the event’s proceeds and contribute one million euros to Secours Populaire, a French non-profit organization dedicated to fighting poverty and promoting solidarity.
