- Southern Front: No Attacks Claimed by Hezbollah in 48 Hours

While an “undeclared truce” is observed in Gaza coinciding with the Moslem feast of al-Adha, Hezbollah has not claimed any military operations against Israel in the last forty-eight hours. The pro-Iranian group's last press release dates back to Sunday, June 16. It summarized the previous day's operations.
However, the “undeclared truce” was not respected by the Israelis on the southern front, where a drone strike on Monday targeted a car at the junction of the Salaa-Chahabiya locality. The attack left one Hezbollah fighter dead.

On Tuesday, an Israeli military official stated that they “succeeded in eliminating the threat of Hezbollah invading large areas in the Galilee and Hezbollah was forced to withdraw its forces 8 km into Lebanese territory.”
“The battle on the northern front is often defensive, however the (targeted) assassination of its officials caused confusion and direct harm to Hezbollah,” the Israeli official said, as reported by Al Hadath TV.
“Hezbollah's military capabilities on the border are modest and not the same as before October 7,” the Israeli official added.
