The Lebanese Surfing Federation, in collaboration with the House of Creed, is organizing the first official Lebanese Surfing Championship on Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11 on the beach of the Jiyeh Marina complex.
Federation president Ali Al-Amin said that the categories approved for the championship are the under-18 category, the shortboard category and the longboard category for men and women. He added that 50 competitors will take part in the championship, and entries are now closed.
Al-Amin said, "We took part in a surfing championship in the Maldives last summer and we have a busy calendar of activities ahead of us."
Finally, Al-Amin invited water sports enthusiasts and journalists to attend and follow the championship on Saturday and Sunday.
