Finance: Last Extension for Payment of Foreign Share Income
Caretaker Minister of Finance Youssef Al-Khalil issued a decision on Tuesday in which he extended "exceptionally and for the last time" until August 15, 2024, the deadline for filing the declaration of income from foreign shares, debt securities, and various other foreign income from movable capital for the years 2022 and 2023.Owners of these shares or beneficiaries residing in Lebanon must submit the electronic declaration form D4/C, in accordance with the provisions of Article 82 of the Income Tax Act.

This decision was taken in order to give taxpayers more time to pay their dues and avoid late payment fines.
