Consumer Prices: +1.72% in March
The Central Administration of Statistics reported on Monday that the consumer price index in Lebanon for March 2024 recorded an increase of 1.72% compared with February 2024. This increase remains moderate compared with the rebounds recorded during the months of 2023 (33.27% in March and 5.35% in May).

In addition, the index rose by 70.36% year-on-year, the organization said in a press release.


The biggest increases were in the mohafazat of North Lebanon (2.81%), followed by Mount Lebanon (1.59%), Bekaa (1.28%), South Lebanon (1.24%), Beirut (1.17%) and Nabatiyeh (0.81%).
