'Yoga Patrimoine': Harmony at the Heart of Beirut
The Sursock Museum will be gladly hosting the 6th Edition of Yoga Patrimoine, an initiative conceived by Monique Rizkalla Chebli and Hania Rayess, on Saturday, April 6, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This marks a noteworthy iteration of Yoga Patrimoine as it ventures into the urban heart of Beirut, offering a "spring" edition held within the historic environs of the Sursock Museum.

The participants in the 6th Edition of Yoga Patrimoine at Sursock Museum will have the unique opportunity to engage in yoga on the museum's magnificent esplanade, followed by three enlightening tours of the museum's exhibitions. This day is dedicated to TAMANNA, a non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of critically ill children.

The museum is pleased to welcome this exceptional event to its calendar. The day's itinerary includes:

From 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM: Morning yoga session on the Sursock Museum esplanade (for all levels), led by yoga instructor Monique Rizkalla Chebli.

From 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM: Outdoor brunch.

From 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM: Guided exploration of the museum's current exhibitions: Sympoietic Fabrics, Intimate Garden Scene, Je suis Inculte !, Beirut Recollections, Beyond Ruptures, and the historic floor.

Participants are requested to adhere to a dress code that includes wearing a white top, in alignment with the tradition of Tamanna. The cost for the day's activities is set at $100. The proceeds from this 6th edition of Yoga Patrimoine will benefit both the Tamanna NGO and the Sursock Museum.

This event promises not only a unique blend of physical wellness and cultural enrichment but also an opportunity to support the commendable mission of Tamanna, embodying a holistic approach to well-being that nurtures both body and spirit while contributing to the fabric of Lebanese society.

Yoga Patrimoine is a Lebanese initiative that marries the practice of yoga with the cultural exploration of Lebanese heritage sites, including visits to villages and hikes in the mountains. Each month, a Yoga Day is organized, with the benefits extended to a Lebanese NGO. This initiative is rooted in the belief that every effort, no matter how small, is vital and fundamental to the welfare of our beloved country.
