Tayr Harfa has been subjected to dozens of airstrikes since the beginning of hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel, which resulted in the destruction of homes in the town. On Tuesday at dawn, the Israeli warplanes targeted an uninhabited house in the town of Tayr Harfa, resulting in three minor injuries among the Civil Defense paramedics, who were transported to a hospital in Tyre, and significant damage to the house.
It also resulted in significant damage to the headquarters of the Civil Defense of the Islamic Scouts Association in the town, in addition to damage to ambulances and firefighting vehicles, according to the associations’ statement.
The National News Agency reported that the Israeli Army fired at farmers in Al-Mary, Hasbaya district, without any reported injuries. Moreover, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft have been heavily flying at low altitudes since the early hours of the morning over the eastern sector, as well as villages and towns in the districts of Hasbaya and Marjayoun. The area is cautiously calm.
The villages of Al-Jibin, Tayr Harfa, and Dhayra have also been subjected to Israeli artillery shelling.
Hezbollah claimed an attack conducted overnight on Shumera and Shlomi “with suitable weapons." However, it announced the death of one of its fighters, Hussein Ali Dbouk, alias Abou Ali, from Shebriha in southern Lebanon.
Overnight, Israeli reconnaissance aircrafts flew over the villages in the districts of Tyre and Bint Jbeil. Moreover, the Israelis released flares over villages in the western and central sectors, reaching Majdal Zun and Naqoura.
