Amal Fighter Killed on Southern Front
Artillery fire exchange between Hezbollah and Israel intensified on Wednesday evening. An Amal fighter was killed in an air raid on a house in Kantara, which had been repeatedly targeted.

Israel also bombed Kfar Kila, Aita al-Shaab and the outskirts of Wazzani for the second time on the same day. Earlier in the day, cattle breeders had been targeted in Wazzani.

Shells also fell on Khiam, the Marjayoun plain, the outskirts of Ghandouriyeh and a house in Hula. Raids were also carried out against Yaroun.

Flares were dropped on villages in the western and central sectors.

Additionally, the Israeli army announced that rockets had been fired from Lebanon at the Shebaa, Yaron, Misgav Am and Margaliot farms in northern Israel.

Hezbollah announced that it had targeted several Israeli positions on Wednesday afternoon, including Zebdine in the Shebaa Farms, Roueissat al-Alam, the Kfarchouba hills and Hounin castle.

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari stated, “Hezbollah is dragging Lebanon into a dangerous escalation.” However, he emphasized that “a diplomatic solution is still possible.”
