Scotland Suspends Relations with Israeli Air Force
During the Gaza war, an Israeli military aircraft landed at Glasgow Prestwick airport, provoking criticism  among the Scottish population. In response, the Scottish government decided to suspend all relations with the Israeli air force.

The Scottish newspaper The Scotchman reported a statement from the Scottish Government, saying that Glasgow Prestwick Airport would not be doing business with the Israeli military because of the context of the war.

The newspaper highlights that an Israeli air force plane, flying from the US to Beersheba, made a landing at Glasgow Prestwick Airport, which is owned by the Scottish state, in November 2023.

On Tuesday, Canada said it plans to halt its arms sales to Israel, following the adoption by the Canadian Parliament of a non-binding motion calling on the government to take this step.
