After a Bloody Night in Baalbeck… A Hundred Rockets Towards Israel
Dozens of rockets were launched on Tuesday morning from South Lebanon towards Israeli locations in the Galilee and the Golan Heights. The Israeli Army reported that 100 rockets targeted the Golan Heights from Lebanon. It also reported that its warplanes “attacked a short while ago three platforms from which rockets were launched towards the Golan Heights this morning.”

Hezbollah retaliated this morning in response to the strikes that hit Baalbeck on Monday night for the second time since the hostilities began between the Iran-backed party and the Israelis. A wood-packing warehouse between the villages of Chmestar and Taraya was targeted, as was a two-storey building in the vicinity of al-Amal hospital in Ansar, east of Baalbeck. One person was killed and six were injured.

For its part, the Israeli army claimed responsibility for the attack, saying that it had targeted “a maintenance center belonging to Hezbollah.”

Earlier in the evening, at around 7 PM yesterday, the warplanes raided the town of Naqoura, targeting an uninhabited house, leading to its complete destruction and causing significant damage to many surrounding houses and severe material damage to properties and infrastructure, especially the electricity and water networks.

Minutes later, the planes targeted another uninhabited house in the town of Aita al-Shaab in the central sector, causing severe damage to properties, crops and surrounding houses. A barrage of rockets was launched towards enemy positions in the hills of Kfarchouba, al-Samaqah and Zibdine.

Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier multiple times on Tuesday morning in the southern skies. Additionally, Israeli reconnaissance planes flew in the morning over the villages of the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the city of Tyre, and at night, they dropped flares over the Tyre district and the coastal area.

Moreover, two airstrikes targeted Wadi al-Salouqi and the valleys of the towns of Barghuz and Dalafah in the Hasbaya district. Israeli interception rockets exploded in the skies over the border villages in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon. Moreover, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of the towns of Hula and Markaba.
