The exchange of fire between Hezbollah and Israel persisted intermittently throughout the day and in the evening Thursday, with Israeli artillery targeting the Marjayoun plain and the outskirts of the village of Khiam. while Israeli aircraft raided the villages of Aita al-Shaab and Aitaroun.
Israel also reported that its army bombed Hezbollah's military locations in Aitaroun and Aita al-Shaab.
For its part, Hezbollah announced that it hit several Israeli targets, including Liman, and the Afdoun settlement with Katyusha-type rockets. It also claimed to have launched an attack on the Maale Golan barracks.
The pro-Iranian party announced, as well, the death of two of its fighters Thursday.
Earlier Thursday, Civil Defense teams succeeded in finding the body of Rabih el-Yassine, who had been killed the previous day in a raid on his house in the village of Dhayra.
