A precarious calm prevailed on Tuesday evening at the southern border of Lebanon, following a day marked by an escalation of artillery exchanges between Hezbollah and Israel, while firefighters continued to try to extinguish the flames at the generator factory targeted on Monday in the town of Ghaziyeh, south of Saida.

Israeli warplanes carried out raids on the southern outskirts of Mays al-Jabal, Hula (Marjayoun), Dhayra, Marwahin, Aita al-Shaab, Kfar Kila, Blida, and Yaroun. Israeli artillery also targeted the Wazzani area near the parks, as well as Hamames Hill, Mays al-Jabal, and Blida.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Army announced that it had "targeted two Hezbollah rocket launchers in the regions of Marwahin and Yaroun in southern Lebanon."

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that "the equations that Hezbollah thought it had imposed collapsed when we decided to attack Damascus, Beirut, Saida, and Nabatiyeh." In a statement, he affirmed that Tel Aviv's "air force" operates "wherever necessary."

On the other hand, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers near the Ramim barracks with rockets and a Burkan missile. It also claimed attacks on Israeli positions in Marj, Roueissat el-Alam, and Sammaka.
