Hajjar to Succeed Oueidat as Public Prosecutor
The President of the Higher Judiciary Council (HJC), Judge Souheil Abboud, appointed on Tuesday Judge Jamal Hajjar as the Interim Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation.

Judge Hajjar will assume his duties starting February 23, succeeding Judge Ghassan Oueidat, who plans on retiring the day before.


Judge Abboud also appointed Judge Nada Dakroub as the head of the eighth chamber of the Court of Cassation. She succeeds retired judge Majed Mouzayhem.
