Tensions Escalate in Southern Lebanon
Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on Tuesday morning on the southern outskirts of the towns of Mays al-Jabal and Hula in the Marjayoun district, in the Wazzani area near the parks, the vicinity of Hamames hill towards Wazzani, Dhayra and Marwahin.

Hezbollah retaliated by targeting an assembly of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Rameem barracks with rocket weapons.

From the Israeli side, the Israeli army announced that it had targeted two missile launch platforms affiliated with Hezbollah in the areas of Marwahin and Yaroun in southern Lebanon.


Meanwhile, fires continued to rage this morning at the warehouses in Ghazieh, south of Saida. Israel bombed Ghazieh on Monday evening, injuring 14 people, most of them Syrian and Palestinian workers. Three warehouses were hit, in which oil barrels, fuel tanks as well as scrap metal and tires, were stored.

Israeli reconnaissance aircraft intensified flights overnight, hovering over villages in the districts of Tyre and Bint Jbeil. They continuously launched incendiary shells and flares at night over villages in the western and central sectors.

On the other hand, the National News Agency reported that there has been a displacement increase of residents of the villages adjacent to the Lebanese-Palestinian border, while families in displacement centers in Tyre are searching for homes outside the shelter centers due to the complicated situation in it.
