Exchanges of fire between Israel and Hezbollah resumed on the Lebanese-Israeli border on Saturday.

On Saturday morning, the Israeli Army announced that it had “attacked Hezbollah’s infrastructure in Jabal Blat and a military building in Bint Jbeil.”
Additionally, the Israeli Army opened heavy machine gun fire in the direction of Jabal al-Labbouneh and al-Alam in the western sector at dawn today. The skies of the south also witnessed the flight of hostile warplanes in the early hours of the morning.
Throughout Friday night and until this morning, Israel fired flares over the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts. Additionally, reconnaissance aircraft continued to fly over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line in the western and central sectors.
Since midnight, Israeli MK spy planes have been flying reconnaissance flights over the Hasbaya region, the Shebaa Farms, Al-Arqoub, up to the Western Bekaa, and Iqlim al-Tuffah, especially over the Jabal Safi area.
On the other hand, the eastern sector is characterized by a calm filled with caution this morning after the Israeli army renewed their attacks against the region, targeting more than once with heavy artillery the outskirts of Rachaya al-Foukhar, Kfarhamam, Kfarchouba, Hebbariyeh, Helta, and Al-Fardis during the night. The shelling also affected the western slopes of Jabal al-Sheikh, up to the heights overlooking the Rachaya al-Wadi area.
On its part, Hezbollah responded to these attacks with concentrated rocket and artillery shelling targeting Israeli positions in Sammaqa, Rweissat al-Alam, and Zebdine inside the occupied Shebaa Farms.
