The ambassadors of the Quint Committee visited House Speaker Nabih Berri on Tuesday in Ain el-Tineh; among them Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Al-Bukhari, Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani, French Ambassador Hervé Magro, Egyptian Ambassador Alaa Moussa and the United States Ambassador Lisa Johnson.
The discussion, which lasted approximately an hour, tackled the latest developments, especially regarding the presidential elections.
After the meeting, President Berri stated, "The stance was unified, and the meeting was beneficial and promising."
After the meeting, the Egyptian Ambassador affirmed, "We will meet and agree on everything, and the stance of the Quint Committee is unified."
For his part, the French Ambassador stated, "The ambassadors' position is unified, and we will soon meet with political officials in Lebanon."
