Latest Updates at the Southern Border
Israeli bombardment of the villages of Tayr Harfa, Alma al-Shaab, Dhayra, Labbouneh and Btayshe resumed at the crack of dawn on Thursday. The Israeli army justified this new salvo of shells with suspicions of "three people having infiltrated the Hanita settlement."

Because of these fears, several roads in the Western Galilee were closed, according to the Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronot. A few hours later, the Israeli army's Arabic-speaking spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, dispelled these fears, announcing on his X account that they had been lifted following a sweep of the border region in question.

The Israeli army also fired phosphorus shells on the outskirts of Dhayra and Alma al-Shaab and targeted an empty house in Tayr Harfa for the fourth time since hostilities began in southern Lebanon on October 8. A raid was also carried out on Jabal Hanine, in Bazouriyeh and on Birkat Jabbour, in the Jezzine caza.

Israel also combed the area around the al-Hadb site, dropping flares on the site and the surrounding wooded areas.

In addition, an Israeli spy balloon was spotted in the skies over Dhayra, while Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over Nabatieh and Kfar Remman.

The Israeli army also announced that it targeted a Hezbollah helipad 20 km north of Mtalleh.

On the Lebanese side, Hezbollah said it targeted the radar station in the Shebaa Farms. It also launched two drones in the direction of an Israeli air defense position and the Iron Dome, near the settlement of Kfar Blum.
