Nasrallah: Al-Aqsa Flood Operation Has Revived the Palestinian Cause
Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah stressed on Saturday that Hamas's Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel on October 7 was a "game-changer," as it "put the Palestinian cause back on the regional and international stage."

"Since the occupation of Palestine, Israel has been working on two tracks," added Hassan Nasrallah in a speech read on his behalf by Hezbollah's representative in Teheran, Abdallah Safieddine, at the twelfth international conference on the theme of "Gaza, a symbol of resistance."

The first is to "legitimize its occupation of Palestine internationally" and "present itself as an exemplary civilized entity." The second is to "weaken and stifle the resistance of the Palestinian people" and "liquidate their cause."

In this respect, Hassan Nasrallah considered that "the normalization by Arab countries of their relations with Israel is aimed at subjugating the Arab nation" and "pushing it to abandon the Palestinian cause." In this context, he considered that "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood changed the situation."

"It has been deeply engraved in the consciousness of the Zionists as an indelible defeat," he continued.

Referring to the American-British offensives carried out over the past week against Houthi positions in Yemen, Hassan Nasrallah stigmatized this "Western" project to "divide the (Islamic) nation." As such, he praised Palestine, which "alone has remained a pillar of unity." He also paid tribute to the fighters on all fronts supporting the ongoing war in Gaza, namely those in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Yemen.

Nasrallah insisted that "relying on international organizations and the international community is a losing bet" since they are "subject to the American administration."

"Our only possible option is resistance," he insisted, pointing out that "confrontation with Israel is not a matter of one or two days, but is continuous."

Hassan Nasrallah also asserted that Hezbollah "is committed to supporting Gaza until victory is achieved."
